Kauai Boat Dives (Reservations)

Our Morning Kauai Dive is a 4 1/2 hour trip. We meet at 7:30am and are back to the harbor around 12:00pm . The Afternoon Dive is also a 4 1/2 hour trip meeting at 12:30pm and returning at about 5:00pm . Both trips are essentially the same although dive sites for each trip may change depending on conditions.  Morning and afternoon charters are 2 tanks at 2 different locations. Both are guided eco-tours catering to marine ecology enthusiasts. We will try to satisfy dive site requests as well as critter requests.

Cost is $105.00 and includes: tanks, weights, dive computer, snacks, drinks, and an underwater guide to Kauai 's aquatic backyard. If you wish to use a dive light, great! There are many habitats inside of habitats to see. There is no charge for lights, but please try to request them in advance. We accept , , travelers check, personal check, and cash.

One tank Kauai boat or one tank night dive are $75.00. Na Pali two tank dives are $170.00. Nitrox is available for an additional $12.00 per tank.

We do cater to divers, however if space permits, riders/snorklers are welcome on the boat. Please remember that sea conditions often may not be suitable for those non-divers susceptible to sea sickness. Reservations are required, and the cost is $50.00.

Night Dives on Kauai are awesome! Our twilight/night dives are a four and a half hour trip, meeting at 4:30pm during the summer.  You get one of the brightest lights on the market and we guarantee a critter filled dive. Hunting octopi, mating nudibranchs, pulsating pelagics - do any of these sound interesting to you? Well, this is a trip that begins when our sea creatures really come alive! These dives will allow you to see our backyard biota change from day to night before your very eyes

Niihau/Lehua Crater Boat Dives (Reservations)

 This trip is offered twice weekly (Wed./Sat.) in the summer only (May-Sept). The cost of the trip is $245.00 and includes 3 tanks, weights, computer, a complete lunch buffet, drinks, and a marine guide to the undersea world of Niihau .  We meet at 6:30am .  Nitrox is available at $12.00/bottle cert. required.

Shore Dives/Instruction – Private dives (Reservations)

Discover Scuba (Introductory Dives) is offered at $100.00 with a second tank just an additional $25.00. 

Open Water Certification is offered at $450.00 and includes all gear and materials over the length of the course.

Referrals are offered at $250.00 which also includes all gear and materials over the length of the course.

Guided Marine ecology tours and refresher dives  are $75.00 for a 1 tank dive, and $100.00 for a 2 tank guided tour..   

*Certified divers completing any shore dive(s) will receive a 25% discount on their first boat charter, (no including Niihau charters)  All shore divers will be provided with water, juices, towels, fresh water shower, and lots of aloha!

Multiple Day Discount (Reservations)

Dive Packages start at 3 days, dive day 3 and receive 10% off, the 4th 5th, 6th, day is 15% off and the 7th and on is 20% off..  Nitrox is available for $12.00/bottle, $15.00 for a 100cu.ft. tank of nitrox.  Nitrox is not included in the discount package, but equipment is.  All discounts are for direct bookings only.

Cancellation policy

We have a full 24 hr. cancellation policy in effect for Kauai charters for parties of 3 divers or less.  We have a full 48 hr. cancellation policy in effect for Kauai charters for parties of 4 or more divers.  Full boat charters are paid for 2 weeks in advance with no refund within the 2 weeks for partial groups unless we can fill the spots. All   Niihau charters require a 48 hr. cancellation notice.  We will not charge if we can fill the seat, but please understand that so many bookings are done in advance that late cancellations are very difficult to fill.  A credit card number is used to hold your seat and will be charged if you cancel inside the policy period.

Wetsuit  $ 10.00 5mm full suits are available. Some beanie caps and vests are kept on the boat. Water temp. gradually changes from the low 70's in the winter (Dec.) to the high 70's in the summer (July).

 $ 12.00 Nitrox as well, with advance reservation, can be delivered to the boat for those certified in its' use. Cost for nitrox is $12 per tank for (32%) or (36%).

Computers

 The ORCA Marathon : Computers are supplied at no additional charge. Diving with computers allows modern day divers the added advantage of a longer bottom time. We at Bubbles Below prefer diving with computers since most of our dives are multi-level. The first dive depth range often is between 45ft-80ft, with an average of around 60ft. The second dive typically ranges between 30ft-65ft, with an average depth of around 40ft. Usually divers can stay down until 600psi or until the desire to be up on the boat is greater than the desire to be on the bottom.
