Aloha.net Email Settings
NOTICE: Email was upgraded and moved on Oct 4, 2011.
- New webmail:
mail.aloha.net
- Your old mailbox is available until Oct 17 at
oldmail.aloha.net.
- Your old mail will be imported into the new system
in the days following the upgrade.
Email Settings
If you need help configurating a particular email program, we recommend that
you use the settings in the table below and the support web site of your
software vendor. If you need further help, please see these guides:
- Microsoft Outlook
- Apple Mail
- Mozilla Thunderbird
- Manual Account Configuration
For general details, please use the following settings:
| Incoming Mail Server (IMAP or POP3) |
mail.aloha.net
Important:
- Log in with yourname@aloha.net.
- Use POP if you want to download all mail to a single computer.
- Use IMAP for anything else, particularly if you read mail
from more than one computer or your phone, or use webmail.

| Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) |
mail.aloha.net
Important:
- Log in with yourname@aloha.net.
- You can use this server even if you travel or have another
ISP. Just make sure you configure SMTP authentication using
your email address.
relay.aloha.net
You can use this if you're a high-speed customer without
a Hawaii OnLine mailbox. You just have to be on our network,
so you do not have to use SMTP authentication.

Specify "SSL" or "TLS" for IMAP, POP3, or SMTP.
Use https://mail.aloha.net
for webmail. Please note that Outlook only supports SSL on port 465
when connecting to our servers.
