Oahu Speaks

Oahu Speaks, the 'Olelo program to provide an "Open Mic" to any speaker on Oahu who wants to get up on a soapbox and present their views over Public Access Television without barriers like

going thru a long training process or gathering a crew, is now up and running on ATTN2, Oceanic channel 25! After four years of C.T.P.A. lobbying of 'Olelo, the administration has finally seen the wisdom of supporting true Public Access to the present four access channels.

The 'Olelo staff working with Oahu Speaks deserve a lot of credit for supporting this widely supported service to the community, and fulfilling the original intent of Public Access. This "Open Mic" program will do more by itself to gain support from the general public for Public Access in Hawaii than almost everything else at 'Olelo combined. The C.T.P.A. is a non-profit corporation which acts as an advocate for community access users.
