Introductory Class - 1.5 hours

1. Introduction to Kite Boarding
Goal: Understanding and knowledge of safety rules and procedures.
Putting to practice all skills learned before advancing to power kite.
Student will learn to perform take offs, landings tight figure eight and other flying maneuvers before advancing to next level.
2. Introduction to Power Kites
Goal: Understand and Practice safe launching, flying and landing procedures of the power kite.
3. Introduction To Using The Kite In The Water.
Goal: Safe and fun operation of the kite in the water.

Introductory Class Plus - 3 hours

All of the above plus some extra water time. Student will become proficient at flying in the harness, body dragging, self rescue, water relaunching, and learning the necessary skills for water starting with a board.

Kiteboarding Starter Course - 6 hours (2 to 3 days)

This lesson schedule is designed to prepare the student to practice kite surfing safely on their own. Six hours of kitesurfing instruction is the minimum a student should receive before going out on their own. The days need not be consecutive. The lesson covers safety, self rescue, launching, landing, recovery and board control techniques.

Starter Course Plus – 10 hours (3-4 days)

This is a comprehensive course covering all of the basics of kiteboarding. Depending on the student’s progress, the course will cover all of the minimum requirements for kiteboarding safely and self sufficiently, as well as plenty of water time learning the basics of riding.

Introductory Course - 5 Days

This lesson schedule is designed to get a student from a novice level to an intermediate level. Most students will be able to go back and forth on their board, jibe and go upwind. This 20 hour lesson schedule gives the student a comprehensive and safe start in the sport. In the industry this is considered to be the basic level of training for those purchasing kitesurfing equipment.

Private Instruction $99.00 per hour, minimum 2 hours

Get started in a one on one lesson or advance to the next level. Going upwind, Jibing, Airtime! Or practice whatever you desire - with one of our instructors. Martin Vari, Jeff Tobias, Justin Souter,Laurel Eastman, Darren Marshall,Dieter Runge and Rebecca Wolthers. Ride with the Pros!
