
A four legged robot created using Excel , Paint
Shop and Gif Construction set 95. The legs are based on a 18th century
mechanism. The legs are a type of linkage originaly designed to help a steam
piston to move straight in and out of its cylinder.
I see it as a base for
a domestic robot that can walk up and down stairs. Or as an smart self leveling
tri-pod. Most of the hard part of the design is in the hips, ankles and feet.
