INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Before you download, take note of the directory to which you are downloading the software.
     
  2. Take note of the file name you are downloading.
     
  3. Select an existing directory or create a new directory for the software.
     
  4. Extract the files in the .ZIP file into the selected directory. You will need and un-archive program such as WinZip to extract the files. You can download WinZip HERE.
     
  5. Create a new shortcut to the executable program file with one of the following methods:
  • From Explorer drag the .EXE file onto the group of your choice. To start the program open the selected group and double-click on it's icon.
  • From Explorer drag the .EXE file onto the Windows Start button. To start the program click on the Windows Start button and select the program's icon.
  • From Explorer drag the .EXE file onto the Desktop. To start the program double-click on the program's icon on the desktop.

Version 1.7 introduces a new Key Signature Drill for 4 clefs (treble, bass, alto, and tenor) and in both major and minor modes! Also, KeyNote now supports both "A, B, C" and "Do, Re, Mi" note naming systems! Your comments and suggestions are very valuable for this new version!
