WAIMEA CHERRY BLOSSOM HERITAGE FESTIVAL Feb. 3, on the Big Island at Historic Waimea Church Row Park. The Japanese "Hanami" is the viewing of the flowers during Spring. The festival presents the history of the Cherry Trees, a tea ceremony, cherry pie and ice cream, mochi suki demonstration, bonsai exhibit, oriental arts and crafts, entertainment and distribution of cherry trees for planting in the Waimea area.
