29TH ANNUAL PANIOLO PARADE This parade of Hawaiian cowboys features traditional paniolo wear, including feather hat bands, nut and flower leis, and lei-bedecked horses marching through Waimea town in the heart of Parker Ranch on the Big Island.

HAT LEI CONTEST (TBA) At Cooks Discoveries in Waimea on the Big island. Some of the most creative lei making goes into making floral hat bands with ferns, nuts, flowers and other interesting materials decorating the paniolo hats of Hawaiian cowboy country.

KAPUNA INTERNATIONAL HULA CONTEST (TBA) This dance contest for master hula dancers and respected elders is held each year at the Kona Surf Resort in Keauhou on the Big Island.

HANA HOU CONCERTS (TBA) These musical presentations at the Kings Shops at Waikoloa on the Big Island are part of the Aloha Festivals.
