Dear Guests:

Whether this is your first time flying with us, or you are one of our many thousands of interisland repeat travelers, it is great to have you with us.

I am pleased to have space in our Islander Magazine to extend our greetings and write a few words that I hope will be of interest to you. Since this is my letter, I usually write about subjects that are of interest and importance to me that I hope our passengers will find interesting. I have written about our beautiful and friendly state, artist Wyland and our wonderful endangered species logos painted on the tails of our modern high technology airliners, our prestigious affiliations with Northwest Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, our reputation for affordable airfares and many other subjects. This issue, I would like to write a few words about what I am most proud of and what is most important to me - our employees.

Whether you are just visiting our paradise, or if you are fortunate enough to live here, we truly appreciate you traveling with us and supporting the Mahalo Air family. Big families or "`Ohana" are a Hawaiian tradition. and our `ohana at Mahalo Air numbers several hundred and is still growing. I'm sure you have heard about organizations having a "Corporate Culture." I believe the Mahalo Air `ohana also has a personality that makes it very special. We have many experienced airline employees, second to none in the industry, and a spectrum of support staff throughout the airline that I am especially proud of. We are also delighted to have many relatively new members of our `ohana, who have joined the family and are very capable and are working to hone their newly learned "airline skills."

So, please enjoy your short, scenic and informative flight with us and don't hesitate to call anyone in the family. It is our privilege to serve you and to have you in our care.
