Easy Portuguese Bean Soup
From the kitchen of Matthew J. Shim


Combine all ingredients except beans and cabbage in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Cover, lower heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Add beans and cabbage then simmer for 20-30 minutes more. Serve in a soup bowl with cup cooked rice.
