The master bedroom closets have louvered mahogany doors, one single and one pair on each side of the bathroom entry passage, the latter are hung to meet on the same plane at even height both top and bottom. If the doors are not perfectly flat, square, and straight (or the jambs not perfectly plumb before the pair is hung) acceptable alignment can sometimes only be accomplished by off-setting the hinge mortises to tilt the hinge-side of the doors.
