Embracing Light

According to the Cosmic Clock*, we have about 10 years left in what the
Buddhists call the Iron Age. We then proceed into the long promised
Golden Age of Light. The Mayan calendar charts the end of time as 2012,
while certain Vedic traditions denote 2010. In any case, it is soon, a
wink in the divine joker’s eye. Wondering what all this means? What
we are feeling is a tremendous light surge coming into our atmosphere.
This influx of light activates the extremes of everything; light and
dark, blissful and tragic. Its intention is to wake us up. We are being
shown our own operating manual, gazing at the not so pretty parts of our
psyche and deciding if these old survival patterns are going to run our
lives. If life feels unsettled or is changing rapidly, realize that the
decisions we are now making about the way we live will carry great
significance in the future. Every imbalance will be shown and its origin
revealed. This cosmic shift is moving us from survival-based power
structures into the wisdom mind. Our ignorance and fear will no longer
rule the universe.

Ancient myths speak of times when our earth was activated with light and
when light bringers such as Buddha and Christ walked the earth. These
stories tell us that in the presence of an awakened one, we
automatically align to our Soul and our true self. The truth of the
Soul becomes the core of reality. The idea that the world can hold this
new awakened consciousness feels almost inconceivable. I treated this
information like a wish fulfilling dream, a place for inspiration and
guidance. Still, there is a part of me working 24-7 preparing to ground
these realities into the world.

If you were God and wanted your darlings to wake up, how would you do
it? Perhaps the most familiar method we see is the power of the
reflected mirror. Our mirrors provide an instant feedback system by
reflecting back the experiences of our core beliefs. When we are
empowered with love in our core, we witness a world filled with light.
If we are victimized and stuck in our story, trauma fills the void. In
the reflected mirror, we are instantly shown the sum total of our
consciousness and the core beliefs by which we live. The point of the
projection is to recognize our reflection and shift our inner
awareness. In this way, we can know if we are expressing grace or
greed, love or fear and clear feelings that have masked our essence.

The only catch is that we may have forgotten that the mirror reflection
is a learning tool. Instead of evolving, our judgments often solidify
our thoughts into an unchanging drama that has us reacting in
predictable ways, with self-righteous attitudes. This makes
transformation much slower and true essence harder to reach. Rather
than being responsible and learning something from thought projections,
we often blame the situation or others for our feelings. This leaves us
analyzing and repeating a story without considering how we generated the
situation in the first place. Confused, we look to others to interpret
reality, allowing voices of authority to define good and bad, right and
wrong, power and punishment. Only under extreme duress will we wake up
to deeper meanings, realizing that we could have more choice in the
matter, at least as to how to interpret the situation.

Most of us are aware of our projections to some degree and work to take
ownership. This is not always easy or comfortable. For many of us,
trauma entered the nervous system so deeply that our conscious mind lost
its power to change. In an act of survival, the ego hid the paralysis of
unspoken pain, covering the hurt with numbness and addiction. This
hidden agenda is stored in our core, affecting our nervous system. It
acts like a toxin, bringing physical sickness as well as emotional
imbalance. Until it is released, the pattern that created the pain will
keep replaying itself, seeking any possibility for release. If we are
not willing to address the old energetic, a feeling of powerlessness and
overwhelm often cover the wound, profoundly affecting how we react and
heal. If we stay locked into this unconscious apathy, refusing real
spiritual growth, we will be continuously confronted with this toxic
emptiness until we are able to reach into a deeper spiritual awareness
and clear the core.
As a healing tool, our projections magnetize situations and people that force us to re-experience unfinished business more consciously.
This process is deep, bringing unresolved emotions to the surface. Experiencing the same dynamics over again, it expresses like a divine play, allowing us to feel and say things that could not be said in the original experience. We are actually brought to the origin of the pain, playing out the drama with different characters. Although we were unable to protect our self in the original situation, now we have more resources. This process allows stuck parts of the child-mind to grow up and assert new strength. This pattern repetition can be crazy making until we realize what our spirit is leading us through. It can be difficult to know when our personality is acting out. The key is to change our relationship to the broken part, to acknowledge its existence and provide nourishment to those parts that never felt loved. By learning to empower and strengthen the weakened part of our self, we face the hurt and tell the truth. Then the grip of the old reality starts to ease and new solutions evolve.
The intensity of light is revealing the old personality, purifying the core and creating choice for the light body to be born.
In this experience, it may feel like a part of us is dying. Waves of depression are common, as the ego recognizes it plight. Deep feelings of helplessness from the inner child may engulf us, as we re-live unresolved pain. If we have the courage to tell the truth about how we feel, willing to link our experience to a deeper origin, we will be released from the past. By taking responsibility for the personality and its projections, the light awakens a very rapid healing process. Then wisdom will take the place of the hurt. If we can survive the cure, all the negative impressions that surround our spirit will be cleared. Lifetimes of karma are being liberated at this time. These two devices of God’s feedback system, the reflected mirror and the divine play, are amazingly effective teaching tools in this light activation process. Whatever has been programmed into our survival mind has to be reconfigured, for sustaining light requires a different method than surviving darkness. This is why the liberation of our core is taking place. By respecting our projections and telling the truth as part of the transformation, we begin to see the bigger picture. In recognizing our spiritual connection, we see how our part in the divine play is clearing not only our personal world, but also the conditions of others. As we heal our perception, our family heals, our community gets lighter and positive merit is released in the world. As a product of the Iron Age, we have had to weld so much darkness. It is known as a time of extreme ignorance. As we are awakening, we need to see the negativity that has been stored in our psyche and take an active hand in clearing it. Many of us were born with a vision of a light-filled world and were perplexed that we came into a environment so asleep. We became conditioned to live in darkness yet our vision kept pointing the way to a new world. When we accept that our pain and suffering must be transformed and that we are tools of light, then the price of hurt and sacrifice does not seem so great. It will be the strength of our love and trust in our vision that will bring about the new world. Be ready to make a much larger commitment to the Soul. This shift into light requires an incredible leap of faith, often finding us reaching for goodness that does not feel real. By releasing all the unresolved pain, our pure core of innocence begins to unfold. This innocence creates a freshness, that lets us see the spirit in all things. When fear is gone, it is easy to recognize our talents and gifts and project these qualities in light-giving ways. We learn to use the strength of spirit to create fields of love to nurture and honor the earth. When our core is projecting light and our identity is in our God self, the world will make amazing shifts in consciousness. Our power will express itself fully, immediately and decisively in ways that promote harmony. We enter this transformation through the door of our heart. There, we have access to our Soul, to the truth and the power of love. These surges of love shift our awareness and our self-identity. Love burns through negativity, releasing old states of hopelessness and illuminates the soul with a completely new vision of what is possible. Our Soul becomes more integrated into the body, like part of our breath, demonstrating the true light of spirit. This alignment shifts our body chemistry, activating the part of our brain that is capable to embrace new behavior. Our body feels reborn into light and we learn to welcome this process with excitement and curiosity. The purification is hard work, but the return to consciousness makes it totally worthwhile. As we embrace our pure core of being and are comfortable within it, we move forward, knowing in our heart what is right. All our motives come from good when we live in our essence. The acceptance of our spiritual core creates a shift in dimension. To sustain this positive empowerment requires us to step into new positions of authority and to take ownership of our actions. We must encourage the strength of our spirit to lead and direct us. Our mind must be steady and our heart constant.
