BUDDHIST STUDY CENTER PRESS is a dharma outreach editorial, translation, and publishing arm of Hawaii's Buddhist Study Center. This non-profit, educational, library resources and student program and activity center adjacent to the University of Hawaii's main Manoa campus is sponsored by the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii, a Buddhist presence in the islands of Hawaii for more than a century.

Since its inception in 1979 BUDDHIST STUDY CENTER PRESS has published a list of titles that have a worldwide appeal to Shin seekers and followers. Our quality paperback titles are in the collections of public and university libraries and are increasingly being used by a number of colleges and universities as texts in courses on Comparative Religion, Buddhist Studies, the Humanities, and Asian Studies.
