Filling the dales and havens
Through endless aching time
Beyond all limitations,
I claim this land as mine.
This Earth, this globe, this beauty
I hold in my embrace
Safely shield her oceans
From every lightless race.
I stroke the brow of anguish
I heal the bitter sigh
I come with love unquestioned
To moisten what is dry.
I find the loveless creatures
I turn sad into joy
I sing my song for all ones
Who weep, beloved boy.
